The first week (21 Oct - 28 Oct) will be a double experience event week. During this time, all monsters will yield twice their regular experience rate on all game worlds. Note that skills or other rates are not affected. We are aware that the double experience events have met some controversy in the past, however, it has always shown to be a fairly popular event, plus it has been a little while since the last one was held.
The second week (28th Oct - 4th Nov) there will be a collection task event. Similar to last year, those who get their hands on enough of a collection item (specified later) will be eligibile for some rewards. The event will not be the exact same as last year, but rather contain some small adjustments to make it more interesting and rewarding.
Furthermore, during both of these event weeks, an NPC will turn your outfit into a Halloween-themed monster outfit of choice for a small gold fee - nothing spectacular, but a little extra variance to the regular human outfits you are used to wearing!
In addition to announcing these events I would like to also give a sneak peek of the upcoming content update. As usual, our content team has been working hard on new areas and monsters. The next update will feature another extension to Aranagua, with a variety of new strong monsters and bosses to face. A couple of the new monsters are demonstrated below. We will also take the opportunity with this new update to release a number of new achievements and a long-awaited fix to the difficulty levels of collect tasks. Once the official release date approaches and we're sure we can give a reasonably accurate estimate for finishing the new update, we will let you know!
The morning of 21st October, the server restart will also introduce the changes tested here to the live servers. This includes 25% reduction in overall PVP damage, slight ranger armor penetration and tweaks to Bravery and Raise of Pace.
